Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical writing device and an image formation apparatus which can improve writing accuracy and writing speed of a luminance signal without increasing a circuit scale of an OLED-PH.SOLUTION: A plurality of light-emitting pixel circuits arrayed at an equal interval in a main-scanning direction are divided into a plurality of groups, and a DAC 400 writing a voltage signal corresponding one-to-one to each group is arranged on one end side of the array. A metallic thin film wiring 401 is provided for each set of the DAC 400 and the group corresponding one-to-one to transmit a voltage signal from the DAC to the group. The plurality of groups are classified into three groups of the near end, center, and far end when seen from the DAC, and a larger number of light-emitting pixel circuits belong to the group of the near end compared to the group of the far end. The number of light-emitting pixel circuits which belong to the group of the center lies halfway between the group of the near end and the group of the far end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
