PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus that eliminates the need of authenticating a user on a side receiving a request even when a requesting side and the receiving side have different authentication methods in a case of requesting processing to another information processing apparatus.SOLUTION: First transmitting means of the information processing apparatus transmits identification information of a user and an authentication method of a self-information processing apparatus when requesting processing to a second information processing apparatus, and second transmitting means transmits the authentication information necessary for the authentication method in the second information processing apparatus to the second information processing apparatus in response to the transmission.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
