Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation optical system that has a refraction optical system and a reflection optical system (convex mirror) and that has the reflection optical system reduced in diameter and also has various aberrations excellently corrected.SOLUTION: An image formation system forms an image, which is on one of an enlargement-side conjugate surface and a reduction-side conjugate surface, on the other conjugate surface. The image formation optical system has a refraction optical system L and a reflection optical system M arranged in order from the reduction-side conjugate surface to the enlargement-side conjugate surface, and while the refraction optical system forms an intermediate image at an intermediate image formation position MM in the refraction optical system, the reflection optical system comprises a convex mirror provided most on the side of the enlargement conjugate surface. A condition of 0.01≤|fL/fM|≤0.50 is met, where fL is a focal length of the refraction optical system and fM is a focal length of the reflection optical system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
