Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a reverse osmosis membrane treatment system and an operating method thereof that, in a reverse osmosis membrane treatment where parallel treatment is performed on water to be treated by means of multiple reverse osmosis membrane units, automatically maintain a water recovery rate within a prescribed range, reduce operation and maintenance loads of the reverse osmosis membrane system, and obtain treated water at a stable flow volume. This reverse osmosis membrane treatment system is provided with: multiple reverse osmosis membrane units 100, 200, 300 that perform parallel treatment on water to be treated; and a concentrated-water drainage volume control device that controls the drainage volume of concentrated water from the respective reverse osmosis membrane units 100, 200, 300 so that the water recovery rate of each of the reverse osmosis membrane units 100, 200, 300 is maintained within a prescribed range.
