PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a ceramide-containing composition which can extract efficiently a ceramide without using organic solvent as extraction solvent.SOLUTION: A method for producing a ceramide-containing composition is characterized by extracting yeast with aqueous solvent that is free from organic solvent and comprises a surfactant.
