Abstract:
A database (220) includes information about points that have been given to users. An accumulation unit (230) accumulates update point information specifying dates on which points are to be given. In response to a point inquiry, a screen generation unit (242) generates an inquiry screen on the basis of both update point information specifying future dates on which points are to be given, and the information about the points that have been given to the users. A batch processing unit (244), which requires a predetermined update period to complete a batch process, includes an extraction unit (245) and an update unit (246). The extraction unit (245) extracts users who are highly likely to issue a new point inquiry request during the update period, on the basis of a point inquiry history. The update unit (246) updates the database (220) to reflect update point information about the extracted users in preference to other users.
