PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder amount detection device that can suppress a reduction in accuracy in detecting the amount of powder inside a powder storage part, a powder supply device, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: There is provided a powder amount detection device comprising: a powder storage part 90 that stores powder; a vibrating member 201 that is vibratably provided on the powder storage part; vibration application means 203 that vibrates the vibrating member; vibration detection means 204 that detects a vibration state of the vibrating member; and powder amount detection means 20 that detects the amount of powder stored in the powder storage part on the basis of a result of detection performed by the vibration detection means, where the vibration application means is provided rotatably on a rotation shaft 96c and flicks the vibrating member to cause the vibrating member to repeat elastic deformation and restoration, thereby vibrating the vibrating member; from when the vibration application means flicks the vibrating member and the vibrating member elastically deforms and until when subsequently the vibrating member restores its shape, the vibration application means passes through an area opposing to the vibrating member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
