Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary solenoid that is configured to convert linear motion of a movable magnetic pole and be able to output rotary motion, and can obtain a rotation angle of 120° or more.SOLUTION: A rotary solenoid 10 includes upper grooves 32, 33 and another and lower grooves 42, 43 and another on faces facing each other of a first magnetic member 20 and a second magnetic member 25, which grooves are formed in a generally circular-arc shape as a center of curvature at a point distant by the same distance from an intersection of a rotation shaft of a movable magnetic pole 110 and the faces facing each other and not overlapping with each other, and their depth is set so as to be a downward pitch toward a prescribed rotation direction. It is configured to roll a spherical rolling element 132 and others on the upper grooves and the lower grooves as an orbit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
