Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spark cutting-off device that can reliably prevent a duct fire by cutting off sparks effectively.SOLUTION: A spark cutting-off device 1 prevents sparks from reaching an inlet 3a of a duct 3 by cutting off sparks generated from cookware 5 that uses solid fuel. The spark cutting-off device is configured to form a layer of bubbling water on a punching panel 12 having multiple holes 12a therein. The spark cutting-off device comprises a water filter 10 installed above the cookware 5, a hood 2 for covering the circumference of the water filter 10, a duct 3 for exhausting air that has passed through the water filter 10, and a fan 4 for producing an exhaustion air capacity V(m/min) of the duct 3. The layer of the bubbling water is provided with a thickness capable of extinguishing sparks by at least one of (a) setting the exhaustion air capacity V(m/min) of the duct 3, or (b) configuring the multiple holes 12a provided in the punching panel 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
