Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an anode for electrolysis capable of improving adhesion between an anode mold and a release agent while maintaining a mold life.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the anode for electrolysis according to the present invention comprises a casting step of casting a molten crude metal into an anode mold, a cooling step of cooling the cast molten crude metal, a taking-off step of taking off the anode for electrolysis made of the molten crude metal from the cooled anode mold, and a releasing agent spraying step of spraying the releasing agent onto the anode mold after the anode for electrolysis is taken off. The releasing agent contains a clay powder having a particle size Dof 15 μm or less and a binder, wherein a ratio of the amount of the binder to the releasing agent [amount of binder added (mL)/weight of releasing agent (g)] is 0.03 (mL/g) or more and 0.05 (mL/g), and the spraying amount of the releasing agent sprayed per 1 mof the anode mold [weight of releasing agent (g)/spraying area of the anode mold (m)] is 80 (g/m) or more and 110 (g/m) or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
