Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt retractor capable of reducing an excessive load applied to a terminal part of a spiral spring.SOLUTION: A seat belt retractor comprises: a spool for winding a seat belt; a spiral spring for energizing the spool to a winding direction of the seat belt; a spring case provided rotatably around a rotation axis of the spool, and stores the spiral spring; and a connection part. The spiral spring comprises: an inside terminal part connected to the rotation axis; and an outside terminal part connected to an outer peripheral part of the spring case. The connection part is pushed to a part close to the outside of the spiral spring, toward the inside of the spring case, to thereby connect the rotation axis and the spring case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
