Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably output sensor output with high resolution in a physical quantity sensor configured to measure a physical quantity using the null method.SOLUTION: The physical quantity sensor is provided with: a tracking comparison AD converter for outputting a digital count value for determining a resistance voltage division value of a detection unit; a low pass filter connected between the detection unit and the tracking comparison AD converter; a moving average circuit that calculates a moving average of the digital count value of the tracking comparison AD converter; a resistance string DA converter connected in parallel to the detection unit, in which the resistance voltage division value is subjected to negative feedback control based on the digital count value of the tracking comparison AD converter so that an input potential difference of the tracking comparison AD converter is zero; and a control unit that executes provisional measurement prior to the actual measurement of the physical quantity by inputting fluctuation adjustment input signal to the tracking comparison AD converter. The control unit is configured to determine a clock frequency to be used for the actual measurement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
