Abstract:
Provided is a damper device for a torque transmission device such as a lock-up clutch for enabling simultaneous suppression of generation of hysteresis torque and occurrence of local wear. The damper device 1 for a torque transmission device includes: disks 5, 7 and a pawl plate 3 which are rotatable relative to each other about a common axis; coil spring guides 18, 19 which are curved with the curvature center being located at the axis side, and which are disposed at either the disk 5 or 7; and a coil spring 9 which is housed in an arc shape at the inner circumference side of the coil spring guides 18, 19, has one end engaged with the pawl plate 3, and has the other end engaged with the disks 5, 7. The coil spring 9 is compressed and expanded in association with relative rotation between the pawl plate 3 and disks 5, 7 to damp input rotation from the pawl plate 3, and the damped rotation is outputted from the disks 5, 7. The coil of the coil spring 9 is in an arc shape in a free state, and the curvature center O3 of the arc shape is located at the opposite side to the coil spring guides 18, 19 relative to an axis O1.
