Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and properly detect presence or absence of abnormality in capacity of a selector valve disposed on a heat recovery passage thermally connecting a hot water storage tank and a fuel cell.SOLUTION: A bypass passage 7 is connected to a heat recovery passage 3 including a cooling water passage 3b for introducing water from a bottom side of a hot water storage tank 2 to a fuel cell 1, and an exhaust heat generation hot water passage 3a for introducing the hot water heated by exhaust heat of the fuel cell 1 to the hot water storage tank 2. Selector valve abnormality presence/absence detection means 35 switches a selector valve 6 when a state that a detection temperature of a FC high-temperature thermistor 26 is higher than a detection temperature of a low-temperature thermistor 27 by a reference temperature or more is continued for a reference time or more in a state that the fuel cell 1 is operated, and exhaust heat generation hot water passing through the exhaust heat generation hot water passage 3a is circulated through the hot water storage tank 2 to allow the exhaust heat generation hot water to pass through the cooling water passage 3b through the bypass passage 7, and determines the absence of abnormality in selection capacity of the selector valve 6, when the detection temperature of the FC low-temperature thermistor 27 becomes a selection abnormality presence/absence determination temperature or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
