Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator capable of increasing humidity in a room efficiently.SOLUTION: When a rapid humidification mode is set during a normal mode for executing a mist operation, an opening/closing damper 55 is brought into an open state and dry air can flow into a gas-water separation air passage 17. A mist motor 11 and a blower fan 14 are driven at maximum rotational frequency, and also, an ON/OFF state of a heating heater 19 is switched so that a water storage temperature becomes in the neighborhood of 52°C. Thereby, by a simple constitution of installing the opening/closing damper 55 at a bypass inflow port 51, the normal mode for humidifying a room with a normal humidification amount and the rapid humidification mode for humidifying the room rapidly can be switched. In the rapid humidification mode, an evaporation latent heat amount increases compared to the normal mode, and a moisture amount contained in the humidification air increases. Thus, humidity in the room can be increased efficiently at an early stage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
