Abstract:
To provide a molding machine for producing a product having any target shape by compression molding of a powder, the machine having a simplified structure facilitating reducing a burden of maintenance.SOLUTION: A powder compression molding machine 10 comprises: a rotating drum 56 having multiple first molds 30 arranged on an outer peripheral surface thereof in both the generatrix direction and the circumferential direction; a motor 64 to continuously rotate the rotating drum in one direction; a holder 100 to hold second molds 32; a support unit 150 to support the holder movably in the radial direction and the tangential direction of the rotating drum relatively to the rotating drum; a first reciprocating linear actuator 159a to drive the holder in the tangential direction of the rotating drum; a second reciprocating linear actuator 159b to drive the holder in the radial direction of the rotating drum; and a controller 182 to control the actuators on the basis of signals from a sensor 180.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
