Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal screw silo capable of stably delivering and supplying cargo, and an operation method thereof.SOLUTION: A horizontal screw silo comprises: a center column; a swivel frame which is provided at an upper position in a cargo storage and driven to swivel around a center axis of the cargo storage as an axis of swivel, with a tip extending toward a wall face side; and a horizontal conveyance device which is driven through the swiveling operation of the swivel frame, and moves up and down along a guide rod of the center column as a suspension wire is taken up or unwound so as to convey cargo horizontally between a center part of the cargo storage and a wall surface for distribution or collection. The horizontal conveyance device comprises: a sensor capable of detecting a position right before the horizontal conveyance device passes by the guide lock; and a control unit which performs control to increase a swiveling speed and also increase a rotating speed of the horizontal screw when the horizontal conveyance device passes by the guide rod on the basis of a detected value of the sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
