Abstract:
The invention relates to a zoom control device, imaging apparatus and zoom control method. The zoom control device controlling an angle of view includes acquisition means 101 for acquiring the motion amount of an imaging optical system, calculation means 116 for calculating the movement amount of a main subject image in a captured image on the basis of the motion amount, determination means 117 for determining whether or not the movement amount of the main subject image is a first threshold or more, and control means 118 for performing control for making the angle of view, when the movement amount of the main subject image is the first threshold or more, larger than the angle of view when the movement amount of the main subject image is smaller than the first threshold.
