PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind direction changing device that inhibits generation of a surging phenomenon and generation of dew condensation, and to provide an air conditioner.SOLUTION: A wind direction changing device (12) includes: first and second wind direction plates (34, 35); an interlocking plate (44) including a locking part for locking those wind direction plates while having a play so as to swing along a substrate (33); and a motor (47) for swinging the interlocking plate (44).
