Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery system capable of accurately obtaining an open voltage.SOLUTION: A battery system 10 comprises: a battery 12; a current sensor 30 for detecting a battery current Ib; a temperature sensor 28 for detecting a battery temperature Tb; a timer 38 for measuring a stop duration time td, which is a period when the battery 12 stops; a polarization voltage calculation part for calculating a present polarization voltage Vp on the basis of present battery temperature Tb and battery current Ib, and a previously calculated polarization voltage Vp; and a polarization voltage correction part for correcting a polarization voltage Vp calculated by the polarization voltage calculation part immediately after the battery 12 has started up. The polarization voltage correction part: calculates, as polarization dissolution amount D, a polarization voltage Vp dissolved during a stop period of the battery 12, on the basis of the stop duration time td, a battery current Ib immediately before the battery 12 stops, a battery temperature Tb immediately before the battery 12 stops, and a battery temperature Tb immediately after the battery 12 has started up; and corrects a polarization voltage Vp using the calculated polarization dissolution amount D.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
