To provide an aqueous coating material which can suppress discoloration of a coated film reduced in glossiness due to moisture and other external factors while forming the coated film.SOLUTION: An aqueous coating material having a pigment volume concentration of 30-70% contains acrylic resin emulsion (A), silicone resin emulsion (B) and a pigment (C), where an average particle size of the silicone resin emulsion (B) is smaller than an average particle size of the acrylic resin emulsion (A).SELECTED DRAWING: None
