Abstract:
To provide an EGR-equipped engine in which a structure of an engine case, an arrangement of an EGR pipe, and the like are comprehensively reviewed and devised to make the EGR pipe cooled more easily and enable suppressing an increase of an engine length.SOLUTION: In an EGR-equipped engine, an EGR pipe 6 for introducing EGR gas g into an intake path 5 is arranged through an engine case k with the EGR pipe 6 facing a cooling water passage w within the engine case k, and a seal mechanism S is provided which seals between an extraction portion 2B of the EGR pipe 6 in the engine case k and an outer periphery portion 6G of the EGR pipe 6. The seal mechanism S includes a seal ring 21 interposed between the extraction portion 2B and EGR pipe 6, and a clamp e which clamps the seal ring 21 in an axial center P direction of the EGR pipe 6, and is constituted with the seal ring 21 being pressed by the clamp e in the axial center P direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
