Abstract:
The invention provides a latch device for a vehicle. The provided latch device can improve the quality of closing sound when a vehicle door is closed. The latch device comprises a body (2), which is made of synthetic resin and is provided with a lock entry groove (21) for the entry of a lock; a cover plate (3), which is made of a metal and is used to cover a storage part (22) formed in the body (2); a latch (5), which is locked with the lock that enters the lock entry groove (21) and is rotated from an open position to a fully locked position; a claw (6), which is clamped with the latch (5) soas to hold the latch (5) in the fully locked position; and an elastic stop member (7), which is fixed on the body (2) and is abutted on the latch (5) when the latch (5) has left the open position andalmost reaches the fully locked position. The elastic stop member (7) can be elastically deformed so that the latch (5) can rotate to the fully locked position.
