Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a heat exchanger of an automotive exhaust system, capable of providing an inexpensive heat exchanger of the automotive exhaust system with a simple treatment.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 10 is manufactured through a temporary assembly step, a formation step of a heat exchanger body, and an electroless plating step. In the temporary assembly step, connection parts of an outer pipe 11, an introduction side rectification cylinder part 14, a lead-out side rectification cylinder part 15, an introduction side flange 16, a lead-out side flange 17, a cooling water inflow pipe 18, a cooling water outflow pipe 19, and multiple heat transfer pipes 20, each of which is made of iron, are applied with brazing filler metal, and are assembled. In a formation step of a heat exchanger body, temporarily assembled multiple members are heat-treated to form a heat exchanger body 10a. Then, in the electroless plating step, the heat exchanger body 10a is immersed into a plating solution several times and plating layers 25a, 25b and 25c are formed on inner and outer surfaces of the heat exchanger body 10a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
