Abstract:
To provide printing paper which can be used both in a digital printing such as industrial high speed jet printing and wet electrophotographic printing and an analog printing such as off-set printing.SOLUTION: The printing paper of the present disclosure includes, on at least one face of base paper, at least one layer of a coating layer containing a pigment and a binder, wherein: the outermost surface layer of the coating layer contains a butadiene-base resin as the binder and contains calcium carbonate, kaolin, and a hollow plastic pigment as the pigment; the butadiene-base resin has a content rate of an acrylonitrile monomer-derived component of 0 mass% or above and 6 mass% or under; a content of the hollow plastic pigment in the outermost surface layer is 0.1-5 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass of the total pigment contained in the outermost surface layer; and the outermost surface layer contains 0.5-4.5 pts.mass of a higher fatty acid salt and/or a derivative thereof per 100 pts.mass of the total pigment contained in the outermost surface layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
