Abstract:
When a first user reads a code 3 (which is associated with a lost item, for example) using a first user terminal 20, location information 6 of the first user terminal 20 is transmitted together with the acquired code data 5 to an information management server 50 under a predetermined condition. In this case, the first user is the discoverer of the lost item. When a second user registers the code 3 using a second user terminal 30 and subsequently instructs the information management server 50 to search for the lost item, a search screen including the location information transmitted from the first user terminal 20 is presented to the second user terminal 30. In this case, the second user is the owner of the lost item.
