Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a groove welding apparatus and a groove welding method capable of forming a proper weld joint by suppressing the occurrence of defective fusion even when a welding direction is changed in a direction inclined with respect to the horizontal direction.SOLUTION: A groove welding apparatus is configured such that a groove 124 is provided between an opening part 121 formed on an outer circumferential surface of a container 110 arranged along the horizontal direction and a nozzle 112, a welding torch 10 is moved along a welding direction along the groove 124, an arc is formed on a tip part of a wire 16 projected from a chip 14 inserted into the groove 124 and the tip part of the wire part 16 performs welding while repeatedly oscillating the tip part of the wire in a direction intersecting the welding direction as the direction opposite to a welding processing direction M. Therein, an oscillation swinging angle α is calculated based on a weld angle θ2 of the tip part of the present wire 16 on the groove 124, at the same time, a welding part gravity attribution degree β acting on a weld part 125 is calculated based on an attachment angle θ1 of the nozzle 112 with respect to a perpendicular direction and an oscillation swinging speed V is set up based on the oscillation moving angle α and the weld part gravity attribution degree β.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
