Abstract:
To provide a pipe joint capable of reducing deformation of a socket flange when tensile force is applied to a pipe.SOLUTION: In a pipe joint 1 in which a push ring 8 for pressing a seal member 7 between a socket 3 and a spigot 5, is externally fitted to the spigot 5, a socket flange 9 and the push ring 8 are fastened by a fastener 10, the fastener 10 has a first fastening member 11 penetrating through the socket flange 9 and a second fastening member 12 screwed with the first fastening member 11, and a locking member 18 locked in the spigot 5 and preventing separation of the spigot 5 from the socket 3 is disposed on the push ring 8, a deformation reduction member 31 for reducing deformation of the socket flange 9 is disposed between a rear face of the socket flange 9 and a head portion 11a of the first fastening member 11, the deformation reduction member 31 is provided with a contact portion 37 kept into contact with the rear face of the socket flange 9, and a centroid P of the contact portion 37 is positioned at an inner side in a pipe diameter direction R with respect to a center 11b of the first fastening member 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
