Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular display device which can project an image widely on a windshield, while retaining image quality.SOLUTION: A vehicular display device 1 includes: a scanning mirror 36 with which a projector 3 reflects a laser beam 11 from a light source part 30 in a main scanning direction of a projected plane 5a of a screen 5A, while reflecting the laser beam in a sub-scanning direction, in order to perform scanning; and a control section 10 which drives the scanning mirror 36 so that an image is projected in a scan region 60, which is narrower in the sub-scanning direction than a scannable region 6A where scanning is possible by the scanning mirror 36, on a screen 5A. The control section 10 can move the scan region 60 within the scannable region 6A in the sub-scanning direction by driving the scanning mirror 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
