Abstract:
A vehicle rear portion structure includes an upper back (20) and an upper back reinforcement (30). The upper back reinforcement (30) is made of a material different from the upper back (20) and is provided to extend in a vehicle width direction on an upper side of a rear portion of the upper back (20) in a vehicle front-rear direction. The upper back reinforcement (30) includes a front flange (31), a rear flange (32), a bulging portion (33), and a luggage opening flange (34). Luggage opening sealing strip (50) is attached to the luggage opening flange (34). The upper back (20) is joined to the rear flange (32) of the upper back reinforcement (30) at a rear end portion of the upper back (20) in the vehicle front-rear direction by any of caulking joining, bolt joining, and rivet joining. A rear side joining portion (B) is covered with the luggage opening sealing strip (50).
