Abstract:
To provide a surgical instrument for controlling and detecting a contact angle of a positioning probe on an anatomical surface.SOLUTION: A surgery support system includes: an instrument having a tool and a manipulator connected to the tool; a space sensor system for detecting space information on the tool; and a computer system for operating a motion state of the manipulator. A method for acquiring surface information by the surgery support system includes: a process for defining a target area and a plurality of reference points on a virtual anatomical model of an object; a process for urging a user to generate sampling information by sampling a plurality of sampling points on the object corresponding to the reference points by using the instrument; and a process for designating the sampling information as surface information on the sampling points. Each piece of the sampling information includes coordinates of the sampling points, a contact angle of the tool in the sampling points, and parameters related to the contact.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
