Abstract:
Provided are a printing device, an image analysis method, a program, and an image analysis device by which it is possible to suppress distortion of imaging data resulting from uneven medium conveyance, and to suppress deterioration in analysis accuracy of a printed image resulting from insufficient resolution of the imaging data in relation to the resolution of the printed image in the medium conveyance direction. The present invention comprises: a printing unit (30) that performs printing; an imaging unit (40) that is provided with an imaging device disposed in a conveyance path of a conveyance unit, and that captures an image of a printed image; an analysis processing unit that analyzes imaging data; and a measuring unit (24) that outputs a timing signal representing the position or phase of the conveyance unit. A pulse count integrated value of the timing signal is added to the imaging data, and correction of distortion resulting from uneven conveyance of the medium and processing to increase resolution are performed on the imaging data using the integrated value of the timing signal.
