Abstract:
Provided is a method for using an all-solid-state lithium battery that greatly improves cycle performance when charging and discharging are repeatedly performed. The method for using an all-solid-state lithium battery according to the present invention comprises (a) a step for preparing the all-solid-state lithium battery, and (b) a step for charging and discharging the all-solid-state lithium battery at a lower-limit cut-off voltage of 3.2 V or more. The all-solid-state lithium battery is provided with: an oriented positive electrode plate having a thickness of 30 μm or more and constituted of an oriented sintered body; and a solid-state electrolyte layer disposed on the oriented positive electrode plate and constituted of a lithium ion-conducting material. In the oriented positive electrode plate, the oriented sintered body comprises a plurality of primary particles constituted of a lithium composite oxide having a layered rock salt structure, and the plurality of primary particles are oriented at an average orientation angle of over 0° and 30° or less with respect to the plate surface of the oriented positive electrode plate.
