Abstract:
The invention is to provide a polarizing plate in which cracking (breaking) of a polarizing film hardly occurs due to thermal shock. The polarizing plate of the present invention comprises in this order a first thermoplastic resin film, a first adhesive layer, a polarizing film, a second adhesive layer and a second thermoplastic resin film, wherein, the rigidity R1t of the first thermoplastic resin film and the rigidity R2t of the second thermoplastic resin film are less than 0.6 MPa,mm3, the storage modulus of the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer at 80 DEG C are more than 400 MPa. The rigidity R1t is (tensile modulus of the first thermoplastic resin film at 80 DEG C [MPa])*(thickness of the first thermoplastic resin film [mm])3, the rigidity R2t is (tensile modulus of the second thermoplastic resin film at 80 DEG C [MPa])*(thickness of the second thermoplastic resin film [mm])3.
