Abstract:
A door opening and closing device 10 comprises a meshing unit 20 for holding a vehicle door in a closed state, and an actuator unit 70 for driving the meshing unit 20, wherein the meshing unit 20 has a latch 30, a ratchet 40, a latch lever 50 coupled to the latch 30, and an open lever 60 coupled to the ratchet 40; the actuator unit 70 has a motor M, an output gear 80 made of a resin material and rotated in a first direction and a second direction opposite to the first direction by the motor, and an output lever 90 made of a metal material and rotated integrally with the output gear 80; and the output lever 90 engages with the latch lever 50 and moves the latch 30 to a full-latch position when the output gear 80 is rotated in the first direction while the latch 30 is in a half-latch position, and engages with the open lever 60 and releases the engagement of the latch 30 and the ratchet 40 when the output gear 80 is rotated in the second direction.
