Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the time of generation at a maximum efficiency output of a fuel cell, improving the fuel economy of the fuel cell and further increase the chance of charging a secondary battery from the outside of the vehicle, decreasing a charging cost, in an electric vehicular power supply apparatus that includes the fuel cell and the secondary battery.SOLUTION: A power supply apparatus 3 of an electric vehicle 1 that has a fuel cell 5 and a secondary battery 7 includes: charge state detection means 31 for detecting a charge state of the secondary battery; and a fuel cell control part 29 for controlling generation of the fuel cell on the basis of the charge state detected by the charge state detection means. The fuel cell control part includes a generation control part 33 for causing the fuel cell to generate at a maximum efficiency output when the charge state reaches a lower limit charge ratio or less, causing the fuel cell to stop generating when the charge state reaches a target charge ratio higher than the lower limit charge ratio, and lowering the lower limit charge ratio as a negative temporal change of the charge ratio increases, thus extending time of generation by the fuel cell at the maximum efficiency output.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
