Abstract:
The invention provides a flow control valve and a refrigeration cycle system in which a flow control valve having a casing formed of a thin plate can be mounted in a simple configuration for maintaining quietness. The flow control valve includes: a casing formed of a thin plate and provided with a first opening and a second opening which are fluid inflow or outflow ports; a valve element which isdisposed inside the casing and adjusts an opening area with a valve seat; a first pipe joint connected to the first opening and communicating with the valve seat; a second pipe joint disposed at the second opening and connected to the interior of the casing; a rectifying portion disposed adjacent to the second opening and rectifying the fluid flowing through the second pipe joint; and a holding portion that holds the rectifying portion in the vicinity of the second opening inside the second pipe joint.
