Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform wavelength switching while reducing an impact on a communication service.SOLUTION: Each of wavelength modules 3-1 and 3-2 which use different wavelengths outputs a packet acquired from an optical signal from an ONU 5 to a concentration device 4, sets the packet received from the concentration device 4 as an optical signal, and transmits the packet to the ONU 5. A concentrator 42 of the concentration device 4 concentrates the packets from the wavelength modules 3-1 and 3-2 and transmits the packets to an upper NW 75, separates the packets from the upper NW 75 into the wavelength modules 3-1 and 3-2 and outputs the packet. A CPU 41 executes a function related to communication control between the ONU 5 and the upper NW 75. In addition, the CPU 41 receives an instruction related to wavelength switching from an external control device 8, which has a wavelength switching function to control and stop transmission/reception of a packet of a wavelength used by the wavelength module of a switching source, and perform transmission/reception of a packet of the wavelength used by the wavelength module of a switching destination, and executes a part of the wavelength switching function without receiving further instructions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
