Abstract:
To provide a monitoring system capable of upgrading usefulness in monitoring an object of monitoring in a building or premises using onboard imaging means.SOLUTION: A monitoring system monitors an object of monitoring in a building 10 or premises 11, where the building 10 and a parking space 34 for a vehicle 33 are present, using an onboard imaging unit 35 included in the vehicle. The vehicle 33 includes a communication feature capable of wirelessly communicating with the outside, and an autonomous traveling feature. In the premises 11, a first monitoring position E1 at which the object of monitoring can be monitored by the onboard imaging unit 35 is designated as the vehicle position of the vehicle 33. Communication means capable of wirelessly communicating with the vehicle 33, and control means that transmits a monitoring command signal via the communication means are present in the premises 11. The monitoring command signal is a signal carrying a movement command that persuades the vehicle 33 to move from the parking space 34 to the monitoring position E1 using the autonomous traveling feature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
