Abstract:
To achieve discrimination of an enterprise vehicle to which a license plate with a pattern is attached.SOLUTION: Each of an infrared camera 220 and a color camera 230 photographs a vehicle 210. A license plate classification device 100 determines whether or not a background color of the license plate 211 is an enterprise plate color on the basis of an infrared image. The license plate classification device 100 determines whether or not the license plate 211 has an enterprise plate frame on the basis of a color image. Moreover, the license plate classification device 100 classifies the license plate 211 into any one of an enterprise plate without pattern, an enterprise plate with pattern and a private plate on the basis of the determination result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
