Abstract:
To provide a light sensor with which it is possible to suppress a difference in light detection characteristics due to the inclination of a vehicle attitude with a road surface as a reference.SOLUTION: A light receiving unit 130 includes a plurality of light receiving elements 131-134 for outputting intensity of light received via a front glass 210 as a light reception signal, with their directional characteristics of light set so that the intensity of light received from a specific direction is differentiated from each other. A signal acquisition unit 140 acquires information pertaining to an inclination angle of a front glass 210, selects light-receiving elements 131-134 having directional characteristics of light that match or are closest to reference characteristics from among a plurality of directional characteristics of light on the basis of the inclination of attitude of a vehicle 200 detected by a height sensor 220 and information pertaining to an inclination angle, and acquires a light reception signal from the light-receiving elements 131-134. Thus, a difference between the directional characteristics of the obtained light reception signal and the reference characteristics are reduced, and a difference in light detection characteristics due to the inclination of attitude of the vehicle 200 is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
