Abstract:
To provide an electronic clock capable of efficiently and reliably acquiring a correct date-time, a date-time information acquisition method, and a program.SOLUTION: An electronic clock includes: a reception unit for receiving a radio wave from a positioning satellite; a time measuring unit for counting a current date-time; and a control part. The reception unit is capable of receiving a transmission radio wave including a signal from a first positioning satellite; and the transmission radio wave including the signal from a second positioning satellite transmitted with information in a manner different from the signal from a first positioning satellite. The control unit generates, a first assumption bit stream where the reception is assumed from the first positioning satellite and a second assumption bit stream where the reception from the second positioning satellite is assumed based on the date-time counted by the time measuring unit, and identifies the current date-time based on the timing at which at least each portion of the first assumption bit stream and the second assumption bit stream is received.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
