Abstract:
To provide a connection joint of steel pipes capable of exhibiting an enough function of preventing reverse rotation, and preventing rotation by having an adjusting allowance in the circumferential direction of a male joint and a female joint, and a connection method of the steel pipes using the connection joint.SOLUTION: A connection joint 1 of steel pipes has an inner joint pipe 5 and an outer joint pipe 7, is attached to ends of steel pipes 3, and is used for jointing the steel pipes 3. The outer joint pipe 7 has a tap hole 9a for preventing reverse rotation orthogonal to a pipe axis 15, and penetrated in the tilted direction to the radial direction of the pipe. The tilted direction is the direction of an inner end of the tap hole 9a displaced in the screwing rotation direction from the radial direction in plan view of the tap hole 9a. The inner joint pipe 5 has a plane part 11a for preventing reverse rotation, facing the axial line of the tap hole 9a, when screwing the outer joint pipe 7. By inserting a rotation preventing bolt 13 into the tap hole 9a, the reverse rotation of the outer joint pipe 7 and the inner joint pipe 5 is prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
