Abstract:
To enable the detection of a vehicle by a method different from a conventional method by which a vehicle detector is used in a smart interchange.SOLUTION: A lane monitoring camera 101 photographs a vehicle passing through a first gate at each time. A video analysis unit 112 estimates the position of the vehicle passing through the first gage at each time by analyzing a monitored video at each time. A roadside antenna 128 is provided at a branching place between a passage to a second gate and an exit gate to detect a radio wave of an uplink signal transmitted from an on-vehicle device of the vehicle passing through the first gate at each time. A radio wave analysis unit 122 estimates the position of the vehicle passing through the second gate or the exit gate at each time by analyzing a radio wave detected at each time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
