Abstract:
To suppress troublesomeness that a video is uselessly recorded in a parking-time monitoring function so as to notify a user of recording of the video.SOLUTION: A recording device includes an imaging section, a video recording section, and a control section. The imaging section is mounted on a vehicle and can image a peripheral video of a vehicle. The video recording section has a first mode for recording a peripheral video when an acceleration exceeding a predetermined threshold is detected, so as to notify a user of recording of the video and a second mode for normally recording a peripheral video. When the first mode is operated with a shift of a vehicle into a predetermined state, the control section allows the video recording section to be operated in the second mode for a predetermined period after a shift of the vehicle to a predetermined state, and then to be operated in the first mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
