Abstract:
This pit work assistance device for an elevator has a restriction body, an installation operation member, a stopper mechanism, and a release operation member. The restriction body is movable between a storage position and a restriction position. The installation operation member is connected to the restriction body. The stopper mechanism restricts the downward movement of the restriction body when the restriction body is moved to the restriction position. The release operation member is connected to the stopper mechanism. The restriction body can be moved from the storage position to the restriction position by an operator at a landing using the installation operation member. The stopper mechanism allows the operator at the landing to release the restriction state for the restriction body by using the release operation member.
