Abstract:
To provide techniques for optimizing maintenance of a rotary tool.SOLUTION: A rotary tool comprises a motor means, a transmission comprising a plurality of components, and a terminal member, the terminal member being capable of being driven in rotation and/or translation by the motor means via the transmission. A method comprises: a step 31 of determining information representative of a torque applied to the transmission; a step 30 of determining information representative of the angle of rotation of the transmission; and a step 44 of determining, as a function of the torque and of the angle of rotation, fatigue damage and/or wear damage to at least one of the components.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
