Abstract:
To provide an automated warehouse allowing for simply measuring an aging of a rack.SOLUTION: An automated warehouse 1 comprises a rack 2 and a stacker crane 3. The rack 2 has a plurality of front columns 7 and a shelf 13 that a frontage 15 is formed by the plurality of front columns 7. The stacker crane 3 has a truck 23, an elevation table 27 that is mounted on the truck 23 and allowed to ascend/descend and a slide fork 29 mounted on the elevation table 27. A second column-detecting sensor 92 is provided on the elevation table 27 and detects a front column 7 in a transfer direction. A controller 51, before it transfers a load W with the frontage 15 or after it transfers a load W with the frontage 15, aligns the elevation table 27 with a height of the frontage 15, allows the elevation table 27 to pass frontward of the front column 7 forming the frontage 15, and detects a position of the front column 7 in a travel direction of the stacker crane 3 by the second column-detecting sensor 92 when the elevation table 27 passes frontward of the front column 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
