Abstract:
To establish compatibility between securement of flexibility on the tip side of a guide wire and securement of strength of a resin part.SOLUTION: A guide wire includes a core shaft, and a tubular resin part that is formed of a resin and that covers the tip-side outer periphery of the core shaft. The resin part comprises a non-contact part in which a space is formed between it and the outer periphery of the core shaft, and a contact part that is positioned on the side of a base end with respect to the non-contact part and that is brought into contact with the outer periphery of the core shaft.
