Abstract:
To provide a tunnel construction method that does not increase the number of work procedures, does not reduce construction speed, and reduce cost of equipment in tunnel construction.SOLUTION: In a tunnel construction method, steps are performed, the steps including: a step of blasting and drilling a pit face K; a step of crushing muck Za generated by drilling with a crusher 2 and then loading the muck Za on a belt 4c via a tail piece truck 3; a step of calculating current pit face progress length MT2 by adding a drilling length Me to a previous pit face progress length MT1 of before drilling; a step of determining whether the current pit face progress length MT2 is equal to or longer than an intermediate frame length S that is a length of one intermediate frame; and a step of, in a case where the current pit face progress length MT2 is equal to or longer than the intermediate frame length S, advancing the crusher 2 and the tail piece truck 3 by the intermediate frame length S and installing an additional intermediate frame 4a to extend the belt 4c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
